WESTERN MICHIGAN U. NARROWS PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH
(2007-04-17)
(wgvu) - KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - An Illinois university administrator is
the only remaining candidate to be Western Michigan University's
next president.
John Dunn has been the interim chancellor of Southern Illinois
University's flagship campus in Carbondale since November.
He previously spent four years at the school as provost and vice
chancellor.
The board of trustees plans to vote on Dunn's appointment April
27th.
Dunn would replace Judith Bailey, who was fired in August after
three years on the job.
