He smiled when an Ingham County judge announced the decision
this afternoon, ending the five-day trial.
Republican Attorney General Mike Cox accused Cushingberry of
lying when he signed two statements declaring he'd met 2004
campaign finance requirements.
The judge also dismissed misdemeanor charges of failing to file
five finance reports on time.
