(wgvu) - WINTRY CONDITIONS, INCLUDING UNSEASONABLY COLD
WEATHER AND SLIPPERY ROADS, HAVE RETURNED TO MICHIGAN. FIVE TO
SEVEN INCHES OF SNOW FELL IN AN AREA FROM KALAMAZOO TO GRAND
RAPIDS.
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGIST GREG MANN SAYS SNOW WAS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TODAY. WINTER STORM WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT
FOR NORTHERN PARTS OF THE NORTHERN LOWER PENINSULA.
IN THE UPPER PENINSULA, THE WEATHER SERVICE SAID LIGHT SNOW FELL
YESTERDAY AND MORE WAS EXPECTED TODAY. THE FORECAST CALLS FOR FOUR
TO SIX INCHES ALONG LAKE MICHIGAN, WHILE SOME AREAS ALONG LAKE
SUPERIOR COULD GET SIX INCHES.
