(wgvu) - NORTHWEST AIRLINES IS SHARING SOME OF ITS
PROFITS WITH EMPLOYEES.
THE MINNESOTA CARRIER DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN $32 MILLION
DOLLARS IN PROFIT-SHARING CHECKS YESTERDAY. THE AVERAGE EMPLOYEE
PAYOUT WAS JUST OVER $1,000.
NORTHWEST REACHED COMPANY GOALS FOR EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE, SAFETY
AND ON-TIME FLIGHTS -- SO MANY EMPLOYEES ALSO RECEIVED PERFORMANCE
INCENTIVE PLAN PAYMENTS, AVERAGING 294 DOLLARS.
BUT SOME NORTHWEST EMPLOYEES ARE STILL CHAFING AFTER THE TOUGH
BARGAINING ON CONCESSIONS.
NORTHWEST PILOTS PLAN INFORMATIONAL PICKETING TODAY AT TWIN
CITIES AIRPORT. AND FLIGHT ATTENDANTS PLAN TO PICKET AT THE AIRPORT
