ITS CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TO DALLAS, AFFECTING 200 MICHIGAN
EMPLOYEES.
THE DETROIT COMPANY SAYS THE MOVE TO TEXAS WILL ALLOW IT TO TAKE
ADVANTAGE OF A MORE CENTRAL LOCATION WITH IMPROVED ACCESSIBILITY TO
ITS MARKETS.
THE RELOCATION IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR BY THE END OF THE THIRD
QUARTER OF 2007. A SPOKESMAN SAYS IT WON'T AFFECT THE MAJORITY OF
THE BANK'S 75-HUNDRED EMPLOYEES IN MICHIGAN.
COMERICA'S CURRENT HEADQUARTERS OCCUPIES ELEVEN FLOORS IN A
45-STORY HIGH-RISE IN DOWNTOWN DETROIT. IT'S NOT FAR FROM COMERICA
