ARRESTS IN SLAYING OF BOYS DETROIT (wgvu) - Five Detroit residents are facing charges in the
shooting deaths of two boys in a home on the city's west side.
Sonya O'Neal, Deandre Witherspoon, Torrisandois Lyons, Robert
Reed and Charles Moore all face two counts each of felony murder
and premeditated murder in the Friday slayings.
Police found 13-year-old Orlando Herron and 12-year-old Darren
Johnson shot in the head inside a ransacked home. Investigators
believe drugs and money were the motives.
Each murder charge carries a mandatory sentence of life in
prison without parole.
Police also found three other victims who were assaulted. A
third shooting victim remains in the hospital in serious condition.
