POLICE IN NEWAYGO COUNTY SAY THAT HEAVY FOG MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR IN AN EARLY MORNING ACCIDENT THAT KILLED TWO YOUNG CHILDREN. IT HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 5AM IN ENSLEY TOWNSHIP ALONG ELM AVENUE. STATE TROOPERS FROM THE NEWAYGO POST SAY ONE OF THE CARS MISSED A STOP SIGN, BROADSIDING ANOTHER CAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. A THREE-YEAR OLD BOY AND A SEVEN YEAR OLD BOY WERE KILLED. THE CHILDRENS' MOTHER AND A SIX-MONTH OLD GIRL BOTH WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. THEIR CONDITION WAS NOT IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE.
