(wgvu) - A POLL OUT TODAY SAYS THAT 72 PERCENT OF MICHIGAN
ADULTS QUESTIONED SAID THE NATION IS HEADING IN THE WRONG
DIRECTION.
THE POLL FOR THE DETROIT FREE PRESS FOUND THAT 19 PERCENT SAID
THEY LIKE THE DIRECTION IT IS HEADED.
SELZER AND COMPANY OF DES MOINES, IOWA, INTERVIEWED 803 ADULTS
IN THE STATE BY TELEPHONE SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
THE RESULTS HAVE A THREE-POINT-FIVE PERCENTAGE POINT MARGIN OF
SAMPLING ERROR.
ASKED WHAT THEY THOUGHT ABOUT THE WAY PRESIDENT BUSH IS HANDLING
HIS JOB, 69 PERCENT SAID THEY DISAPPROVE, 26 PERCENT SAID THEY
APPROVE, AND 5 PERCENT WERE UNSURE.
