(wgvu) - A MEMBER OF THE MICHIGAN NATIONAL GUARD
WHO GRADUATED FROM KENT CITY HIGH SCHOOL HAS BEEN KILLED IN IRAQ.
TWENTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD SPECIALIST BRANDON STOUT WAS KILLED MONDAY
WHEN HIS VEHICLE STRUCK AN EXPLOSIVE IN BAGHDAD. HE SERVED WITH THE
KINGSFORD-BASED 46TH MILITARY POLICE COMPANY.
AFTER BEING ACTIVATED IN JULY, HE DEPLOYED TO FORT DIX, NEW
JERSEY. HE REACHED IRAQ IN OCTOBER.
HIS MOTHER-IN-LAW SAYS STOUT WAS ASSIGNED TO HELP IRAQI POLICE
WITH THEIR DUTIES.
