(wgvu) - AA 17-YEAR-OLD BAY CITY MAN IS FACING
MULTIPLE CHARGES IN A WHAT STATE POLICE CALL A BIZARRE CASE OF
MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
TROOPERS SAY THE MAN KEPT HITTING A WOMAN'S CAR YESTERDAY NEAR
LINWOOD, THINKING IT WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND'S CAR. THEY SAY HE WAS
TRYING TO GET HER TO STOP BECAUSE HE WANTED TO TALK. HE AND HIS
GIRLFRIEND APPARENTLY GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT AT A PARTY AND SHE LEFT
WITHOUT KISSING HIM GOODNIGHT.
A 17-YEAR-OLD PINCONNING WOMAN WHOSE CAR WAS BEING HIT LED THE
MAN TO POLICE. HER CAR HAD BEEN RAMMED AS MANY AS 16 TIMES BEFORE
THE HIGH-SPEED CHASE ENDED. SHE WASN'T HURT.
THE STRIKING DRIVER IS ACCUSED OF ASSAULT WITH A VEHICLE AND
DRUNK DRIVING.
