In 2008, Masterpiece began its thirty-eighth year on public television. During its storied history — the longest-running prime time drama in American television — Masterpiece has remained steadfast in its commitment to bring the best in literature-based drama, mysteries filled with eclectic characters, and groundbreaking contemporary works.

The popular World War II whodunit starring Michael Kitchen as Inspector Christopher Foyle returns with three new episodes. In the premiere episode, Foyle's replacement is suddenly killed; will Foyle come out of retirement? Alan Cumming hosts. (CC, Stereo)
