Second Sundays on Fourth (SSO4) is a series of FREE street parties on 4th Street (between Cherry & Marshall Streets), downtown Winston-Salem, every Second Sunday from May to October. There truly is something for everyone, from regional and local musicians, to inflatable playgrounds for the kids, to wonderful activities for all ages presented by various organizations within Winston-Salem. SSO4 also partners with a different local non-profit every month to provide both monetary support and raise awareness of their missions.
Enjoy $5 family films at a/perture Cinema at 2pm, followed by free live music and kids activities in the street starting from 3 – 6pm. Art making with SECCA starts at 3pm in front of a/perture and will be inspired by that week’s film. This week watch Short Circuit at a/perture Cinema, listen to great music, and help celebrate the Great Main Street in North Carolina, presented by the American Planning Association.
