In collaboration with Triad Moms on Main and the Greensboro Cultural Center, Heartstrings & Triad Moms on Main will host a Holiday Remembrance Tree Project in the Greensboro Cultural Center atrium (200 North Davie St.) beginning December 2nd through New Year’s Day. The Holiday Remembrance Tree will give Triad families an opportunity to remember a loved one or to honor past holiday traditions by contributing an ornament.
Community members may contribute an ornament of their choice or a personalized angel wings ornament provided by Heartstrings. Personalized ornaments with the name of a loved one, friend, or caregiver will be given as a token of appreciation for those who donate $10 or more. Heartstrings will hang the personalized ornaments on behalf of donors who indicate this preference. For those who wish to hang an ornament themselves, there will be a Tree Decorating Ceremony on Monday, December 9th at 6pm in the Greensboro Cultural Center Atrium (200 North Davie St.). Light refreshments will be served.
Donations for the Heartstrings Remembrance Tree Project are being accepted now through December 23rd. Please visit www.heartstringssupport.org and click on Holiday Remembrance Tree for more information, or call 336-335-9931.
