Come hear our guest speakers share their experiences as participants in the NLOL program and see some of our graduates demonstrate their skills. New Leash On Life is a program that pairs inmates of the Forsyth Correctional Center with dogs from the Forsyth Humane Society. Over a span of 10 weeks they work together to help each other become productive, confident members of society. Throughout the process they reciprocate lessons of patience, discipline, and learning to give and receive unconditional love. The program ends with a graduation and introduction of the dogs to adoptive families. |
