| Members of Forsyth Astronomical Society, the rangers of Pilot Mountain State Park, and SciWorks Planetarium staff will host as astronomy observation at the top of Pilot Mountain. If the weather is favorable, the spring constellations and several deep-sky objects will be visible. Come learn about astronomy and telescopes from some knowledgeable amateur astronomers who will be available to answer questions. Meet in the summit parking lot of Pilot Mountain State Park, should you arrive after dark please turn off your headlights and drive slowly using parking lights once you reach the lot. |
