Introduction to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) presented by MANC voice faculty member Charlene Marchant. This workshop will focus on the sounds and symbols of IPA as applied to English. If time allows, the discussion will also include a brief introduction of the sounds and symbols of lyric diction of languages including Italian, French, or German.
