One Teacher's Story
(2006-06-23)
(wfcr) - Mary Cowhey may be the kind of teacher students remember years after being in her second grade classroom. She's a passionate teacher, and there are many like her. But as schools are challenged to keep up with the increasing number of state and federal requirements for learning, it's a challenge for teachers to be as creative as they'd like to be. As the school year wraps up, WFCR's Tina Antolini visited Mary Cowhey's class.

Mary Cowhey is the author of Black Ants and Buddhists: Thinking Critically and Teaching Differently in the Primary Grades: http://www.stenhouse.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=0&idproduct=8988
