Rosenberg grand jury testimony released, sheds new light for family and historians
(wfcr) - This month, the US government released secret grand jury testimony in the case of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. They were executed in 1953 after being convicted of passing secrets about the atomic bomb to the Soviet Union. The documents reveal inconsistencies in the evidence given against Ethel Rosenberg, centering on the contention that she had typed up notes to be given to the Soviets. The Rosenbergs sons -- Robert and Michael Meerepol-- live in western Massachusetts. For decades they fought to clear their parents names. © Copyright 2018, wfcr
