Out-of-Staters: We now pronounce you...
(wfcr) - The Massachusetts house on Tuesday July 29, 2008 voted to overturn a 1913 law that bans non-resident same-sex couples from marrying in the Baystate if their union would be illegal in their home states. The house debated for just forty minutes before voting to repeal the law. WFCR's Kevin McNicholas reports that only seven legislators spoke on the issue, including three who wanted to maintain the ban.
