New Study Shows Need for Regional Slaughterhouses

AMHERST, MA (wfcr) - A study funded by the USDA has concluded that at least one slaughterhouse in western Massachusetts is needed to help area farmers keep up with a rising demand for local meat and stay in business. WFCR's Tina Antolini has more.
