UMass Trustess Rescind Mugabe's Honorary Degree
Trustees of the University of Massachusetts Thursday voted unanimously to rescind an honorary degree awarded to Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe. WFCR's Kari Njiiri reports.
Trustees also voted to approve a partial fee waiver for Massachusetts veterans who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan since the September 11th attacks. Under the welcome home waiver, veterans admitted to a degree program at U-Mass could be eligible for up to $8,000 in waived fees.
