MA Govenor in Orange
(wfcr) - Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick received a warm welcome from members of the North Quabbin Community Coalition at its meeting in Orange Friday. Many said they were thrilled the governor would visit their small town to hear residents concerns. Their questions focused on the migration of jobs out of state and what the governor was doing to ensure the region west of Boston was on his agenda. Patrick
said with his life science initiative, and his support of the renewable energy industry, he was working to encourage the entrance of new businesses to replace those lost in manufacturing. Orange resident
Rebcecca Byalecki says she thinks Patrick's being in Orange is a sign of his commitment to the state as a whole, and not just
the beltway inside 495.
