Mothers and Daughters
(2007-05-10)
(wfcr) - Mothers and daughters don't always get along. Especially in the teenage years. Ten years ago, a group of mothers and daughters in western Massachusetts started to meet on a regular basis as a way to help both generations get through some of the toughest times. Psychotherapists Renee Schultze and Su Ellen Hamkins were two of the original members. They're hoping to set an example for others around the country. They've just published a book called, The Mother-Daughter Project." As we head toward Mothers' Day this weekend, Renee Schultz tells WFCR's Karen Brown how their group helped them weather the adolescent years.
