Students' High Dropout Rate Predicted SPRINGFIELD, MA (wfcr) - Earlier this week, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released statistics predicting the risk of students dropping out of high school. The risk was calculated based on 8th grade MCAS standardized test results, attendance rates, and age.
