Commentary: Umpires and Supreme Court Justices
(wfcr) - The baseball season is underway. The national pastime is sometimes more than just a game in America, it's often a touchstone in politics too. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts once used a baseball metaphor to describe the justice's role in the country's civic affairs. But according to commentator Edward Cabot, Roberts was off-base.
Edward Cabot is a public interest attorney and former Chairman of Common Cause, the citizens' lobbying group. He is an Adjunct Professor of Public Policy and Law at Trinity College in Hartford.
