New Tools for Blind College Students at WNEC SPRINGFIELD, MA (wfcr) - Another academic year is getting underway at the region's colleges. At Western New England College in Springfield, five visually-impaired students arrived early to get used to the layout of the campus -- to find their dorm rooms and the buildings where their classes will take place -- and to get familiar with some special tools that will help them advance their learning. WFCR's Bob Paquette spent some time recently with one of them.
