Challenge to California's Proposition 8 AMHERST, MA (wfcr) - California's Supreme Court is currently considering a challenge to that state's Proposition 8, the ballot initiative voters approved in 2008 that outlawed same-sex marriage in that state. Among the many written comments submitted to the court was research by Clark University professor Abbie Goldberg.
