AMHERST. MA (wfcr) - Route nine in Hadley, Massachusetts is in the midst of major retail development. With a potential Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Lowes Home Improvement store all in development, hearings with the town's planning board have been taking place every few weeks. A hearing for the Lowes store is set for September 20th.
