Md. woman charged with choking teen daughter
It happened on Tuesday at a home on Royal Oak Road in Royal Oak, Md.
Officers were called to the home for a report of an assault.
Police say 48-year-old Donna Jeanne Layman choked and assaulted her daughter during a dispute. Troopers say Layman was highly intoxicated.
Police say Layman was also charged with trespassing as she was not supposed to be on the property where her daughter was living.
Layman was released on personal recognizance by a district court commissioner.
