Va. woman charged after vehicle strikes officer VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. (AP) (wesm) - A Virginia Beach woman faces reckless driving charges after she drove into a State Police cruiser on Interstate 264.

State Police spokeswoman Michelle Cotten says 24-year-old Sabrina Farbor's eastbound vehicle drifted to the side of the road, where it struck the back of the trooper's car on Sunday afternoon. The trooper had stopped another vehicle for speeding near Mount Trashmore.

The trooper indicated Farbor was using her cell phone at the time. Cotten says the trooper, whose identity wasn't released, suffered minor abrasions and no one else was hurt.
