Rocket launched from Va's Eastern Shore
The rocket was launched from Wallops Flight Facility in Atlantic at 7:55 p.m. yesterday. The launch was originally set for May 5 but the weather has not cooperated.
Scientists say the Minotaur I will deliver into orbit an 880-pound Air Force TacSet-3 satellite intended to give U.S. troops the upper hand in combat situations.
