9:00AM - 12:30PM It's another one of those days where you have to play music to uplift and inspire. What a gray, dreary day it was today. It was a good day to premiere "3-2-1" by pianist Pamela Hines. She has a sparkling, lively touch. It was also a good day to jump with music of Charles Mingus. We heard a great interpretation of "Dizzy's Moods" by the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra who appear Thursday night in Hill Auditorium. Congratulations to this morning's Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra ticket winner, Tom in Ann Arbor. Thank you for listening and we hope the music lifted your spirits.
