Libby and Riley DeCamp of Romeo, Michigan, have been painting skeletons, picking fiddlehead ferns, pulling manes, chasing sunflowers, and most importantly, strumming banjos, guitars, mandolins, and other stringed things for quite a while nowó"since the late 1800s," they say! Their voices vaulted into prominence in 2013, with tales of Seattle slums, aspiring sailors, eyes full of shiners, and gullible rats. The DeCamp Sisters cop to influences from Gillian Welch, Laura Marling, The Avett Brothers, Jack White, and Jolie Holland, but they have a sound of their own that you ought to check out, especially at no cost!
Tonight's show is FREE! Nonperishables are accepted for Food Gatherers.
