The Ann Arbor Concert Band kicks-off their 35th concert season with “Fall Classics”, under the direction of James Nissen, now in his 10th year as conductor of the band, Sunday, October 20 at 2:00 pm. in Hill Auditorium, 825 N. University, Ann Arbor. Presenting classic band repertoire; Copland’s heroic “Fanfare for the Common Man”, the dynamic “Variations on America” by Charles Ives, “Hammersmith” by Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughn William’s “English Folk Song Suite” and more. Tickets are $10 - adults, $5 - seniors/ students, children under 12 are FREE. Season ticket packs (4 concerts) are $35 - adults, $20 - seniors/students.
