MOREHEAD, KY (WEKU) - Students from Morehead State University will join their colleagues from other public schools in the Kentucky Commonwealth for a rally in support of higher education. They'll be appealing to state lawmakers in Frankfort to keep the cost of post-secondary education affordable in the Bluegrass.
MSU Board of Regents Student Representative Kyle Yarawsky is among those making the trip. The student from Burlington says students need college to remain affordable. Buses carrying MSU students departed from the Morehead campus at 8 o'clock this morning. The rally is being held in the rotunda of the capitol building at 1:30.
