McCain Visits UofL
US Senator John McCain calls last week's massacre at Fort Hood an "act of terror." During a stop Wednesday in Kentucky, McCain said indications of the alleged shooter's "disturbing behavior" should have been passed along to authorities.
"I think it fits all of the criteria to be called an act of terror. If that's terrorism, I can assure you that the families at Fort Hood that I met with yesterday view it as terrorism by killing and wounding members of a family on a military base," McCain said.
The Arizona republican made a veteran's day visit to the University of Louisville's McConnell Center on another matter, McCain said President Obama must decide soon on increasing troop levels in Afghanistan.
