UK Hosts Senate Candidate Forum
On the first official day of Kentucky's 2010 election campaign, the University of Kentucky Wednesday morning hosts all nine candidates for US Senate.
UK Journalism Professor Buck Ryan directs the Citizen Kentucky Project, which is sponsoring the candidate forum.
"Well I've been hearing from students and faculty and civic leaders in the community and of course the candidates and their constituents. I think it's going to be a really good show. Each year with our Citizen of Kentucky forums we never know who's going to be there until the event but it always works out as a wonderful civic moment," Ryan said.
The forum will be held in the University of Kentucky Margaret I. King Library.
