Yarmuth Puzzled by Rejections of Opt-Out Proposal
Kentucky Congressman John Yarmuth finds puzzling Republican opposition to a health care reform proposal. It would allow states to opt out of a new, federally-run health care plan. The Louisville Democrat says the bill was revised to accommodate GOP lawmakers who don't want a government-operated program.
Yarmuth says it's time for Republicans to cooperate with democrats on a health system that provides better and more affordable care.
GOP Senator Mitch McConnell blames Democrats, saying they've consistently rejected Republican proposals.
