Despite loud protests from environmental-activists, the Board of Trustees at the University of Kentucky Tuesday accepted a seven million dollar gift from a pro-coal group.
The grant, which comes from the "Difference Makers" group will fund a new dorm for the men's basketball team.
The new dorm will be dubbed the Wildcat "Coal" Lodge. It replaces the old Joe B-Hall Wildcat Lodge.
