McConnell Unsatisfied with Lack of Tort Reform
Kentucky's senior senator remains dismayed that tort reform is not part of any bill before congress that deals with re-doing the nation's health care system.
Republican Mitch McConnell says the current legislation only mentions a plan to study tort reform, and that's already been done several times over.
McConnell says tort reform also reduces the cost of health care in the states that have it. He claims democrats are against tort reform because they have benefited from campaign contributions from trial lawyers who've made millions off what he calls 'junk lawsuits.'
