EKU Faces Tennessee State in OVC Match
It's another battle of the un-beatens in league play this weekend at Roy Kidd Stadium. Eastern Kentucky comes into Saturday night's game against Tennessee State 3-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference, fresh off an emotional win over Eastern Illinois.
The Colonels sacked the Panther quarterback six times last Saturday. That concerns Tennessee State head man, James Webster.
"Their front sever people are very active. They're not what you might consider a big group physically, but I'll tell you what, they're very quick. They run well to the football, they don't stay blocked. You can block them but they get off blocks," Webster said.
The Tigers are 1-0 in the conference. Kickoff Saturday night is set for 6 pm.
Two more unbeaten OVC schools battle it out this weekend in Richmond.
