Opera Puts "Young Mr. Lincoln" at Center Stage

The composers of operas can do much with the life of Abraham Lincoln. His triumphs and tragedies are mythical. So, to mark the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth, the University of Kentucky commissioned an opera. "River of Time" premieres this weekend in Lexington .not far from the ancestral home of Mary Todd Lincoln. Rich Copley reports for WEKU Radio and the Lexington Herald Leader Newspaper
