A Kentucky congressman is confident legislation approved last week in the house will spur the production of advanced technology vehicles in the US.
The measure authorizes three billion dollars for research into improving the energy efficiency of larger vehicles. Louisville Democrat John Yarmuth says that'll benefit truck plants in his district.
Yarmuth says it's another move that benefits the economy and the environment at the same time.
