Bunning Opposes Cap & Trade Bill
Bunning warns the energy legislation passed in the house in June could have painful consequences in Kentucky. The republican from northern Kentucky is questioning why Kentucky Congressmen Ben Chandler and John Yarmuth voted for the bill.
Bunning refers to cap and trade as "the job killer bill." He says he hopes a compromise measure can be developed at the committee level. Supporters of the cap and trade approach say it is needed to encourage the development of alternative sources of energy.
