AAA Predicts Low Holiday Travel
Louisville saw a slight decline earlier this week in fuel prices, and Boyd says they've been cautioning distributors that an increase just because it's a holiday weekend will likely be enough to cause some drivers to cancel their plans at the last minute.
"Hopefully those prices will stay steady for once through a holiday week. Although it wouldn't surprise anyone if it does go up," Boyd said.
He says the decline in travel is happening despite the fact that the price of gas is down by more than a dollar per gallon from last year.
