A greater commitment to higher education is key to the success of post-secondary education in the commonwealth. That's the assessment of Kentucky's president of the Council on Post-secondary Education.Robert King says the state has made significant progress since the council was established in 1997. But, he says the commonwealth still faces many challenges.
King says higher education is a vital tool in the development of jobs and economic activity. He spoke Wednesday to the rotary club in Bowling Green.
