A couple of congressmen from opposite sides of the Ohio river say a new study confirms what they've been saying all along. The Brent Spence Bridge linking Kentucky and Ohio is important to the national transportation grid and should be improved.Kentucky republican Geoff Davis and Ohio democrat Steve Driehaus have been contending that the bridge should be rehabilitated for that very reason. Davis said the structure is a link in a national chain.
Davis said the bridge is also important to the US economy, permitting the transport of more than $400 billion in freight every year.
