Palin in Chillicothe
(2008-10-30)
(WOUB) - Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin stopped in Chillicothe for a rally on the steps of the Ross County Courthouse yesterday.

The Alaska Governor spoke about the Republican ticket's economic plan, saying it would help families keep their savings, investments, and homes.

Palin added that the election of the McCain/Palin ticket would lower income taxes, double the child tax deduction credit, cut the capital gains tax, and lower the business tax.

And Palin said they would "clean up the corruption and the greed on Wall Street and Washington that brought us the housing crisis."

She also blasted Democrat Candidate Barack Obama for his comments to "Joe the Plumber" in Toledo... where Obama was overheard saying "it was time for Americans earning over $250,000 per year to share the wealth".

Palin said for small businesses just trying to get ahead, this plan would make it harder to keep employees or grow their business.

An estimated 5,000 people were in attendance.
