7th anniversary of terrorist attacks marked in Kalamazoo

(KALAMAZOO) (wmuk) - A Salute to the Spirit of 9-11" in Kalamazoo's Bronson Park Thursday will honor public safety, military and emergency personnel. The hour-long event will feature a concert in the park by the Kalamazoo Central High School Band and the Michigan State Police bagpipers. It will also include a speech by retired Brigadier General Warren Lawrence of Vicksburg. The Salute to the Spirit of 9-11" starts Thursday afternoon at 4:30 in Bronson Park. © Copyright 2012, wmuk
