| This story chronicles a Kentucky family of five as they set out for Oregon in 1852. For this father, mother, son, and two daughters, the road is long, hard and full of both adventure and heartbreak.The monologues and poems of this performance are based on authentic journals of the period, giving viewers a glimpse into what pioneer life was truly like. Join us and learn what it was like to strike out into the heart of the American wilderness in search of a whole new life and home. Tickets are $5 at the door.
